This month's Ice Pick features an all new concept that will really help you to understand how to photograph for the album like Jerry. Abby & Luke's wedding - Bride contains the normal video of Jerry at the wedding and audio commentary version but it also contains the album layouts as presented to the client, so you can see how each shot taken is used within an album design.
In Posing & Lighting Jerry shows you how to use off camera flash to create beautiful light in a situation when you are seduced by a location and have to shoot there but the ambient available light is poor. Jerry teaches to always look for the light first, but sometimes you just have to take advantage of a view or amazing background!
For Advice this month Jerry is critiquing three different member's portfolios; that is three sets of images from a single shoot from three different people. Each portfolio is quite different so do take the time to watch each critique as there is a lot that you can learn from this section.
This month's Ice Queen is Elle, she and her husband Alexandre did a shoot with Jerry recently on the streets of LA. Unsurprisingly, creative use of harsh and soft sunlight features in the images.
Practice takes an interesting behind the scenes look at just how important "good" light is when photographing people and also highlights the difference bad light can make to a beautiful face.
Tip of the Iceberg continues the study of personality Types and how you can use this knowledge in your own business and client interaction.
Icing on the Cake is also a continuation of last month's seminar in Greece where Jerry challenges himself to create portraits of a couple using only what is available in the room. Note how Jerry uses a specific pose as a reason to move the bride's face into the best position for the available light!
