The bride and groom location portraits for Julian & Sarah's wedding is the feature of this month's Ice Pick. Shot within a relatively small area [for Jerry] with all images straight out of camera. Posing & Lighting continues to explore just what can achieved in an ordinary location and a small pocket of natural light, when attention is paid to the details. Advice this month is a review of Ken & Angela's album whose wedding was featured in Chapter 40 - 44. Jerry's audio commentary talks through each layout explaining his decisions to use specific images, why other's wouldn't have worked and his thoughts on the particular layouts he used. Susanne, a model Jerry used during a workshop, is this month's Ice Queen. The shoot was typical of Jerry's teaching and took place in an ordinary neighborhood and as always prioritizes looking for the light. Practice provides a variety of examples of 'finding the right light' and creating extraordinary photos from ordinary locations. Part five of Melissa's Customer Service presentation is continued in Tip of the Iceberg as she explores how to make a reluctant client fell more comfortable during the first meeting. Obsessed with Light continues in Icing on the Cake, this month Jerry looks at the humble reflector and how to put it to better use.
