Another month has gone by and we are happy to release new content for you to enjoy!
This month's Ice Pick section carries on where we left off last month featuring Sarah and Neal's wedding. The focus this month is on bridal party portraits and also some of the couple on their own. Here's a great example of not many locations to shoot in but making the most of what Jerry was given.
Continuing to the Posing and Lighting section, Jerry offers some scenarios where a reflector might have been perfect but you don't have one with you. We like to refer to this solution as using "environmental reflectors". Be sure to check out what objects Jerry used to fill in the light as he saw fit.
We flipped the script this month for the Advice section. Jerry wanted to offer you a bit of insight into what goes on in his head while creating a portrait. Hopefully, this will inspire you and your thinking.
Recently we had the chance to do a workshop in Budapest and that's where we feature our Ice Queen for chapter 109. As luck would have it, we encountered rain during this session but that wasn't going to be a good excuse and Jerry wasn't having any of it. Take a look at some of the images he created with the right lighting and just a few rooms available to him.
What do you do when you are faced with a crowded location and harsh lighting? You work with it because it might be your only option and on this day it was. Jerry features this very scenario in the Practice section. Always remembering to "shoot for the album", watch as Jerry created many different looks with a very limited amount to work with.
Resolutions! That's the topic we are covering in this month's Tip of the Iceberg. What better way to start the year than to assess, make a list of goals, and start off with a clean slate. Let's work together to write down improvements for the upcoming year.
To wrap up the month, we feature additional footage of Ben and Katie's sexy couples shoot. Check out Icing on the Cake as Jerry brings the couple inside and creates some great images right at the dining room table....No, really, I'm serious! :)
